What’s Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy?
Muscular dystrophies are a group of muscle-wasting conditions. Duchenne is both the most common and severe form of muscular dystrophy.
It mostly affects boys and is a life-limiting condition. The impact on patients and their families is severe.
There is no cure. Research is ongoing to find effective treatments to reduce the condition’s impact.
