I’ve been working as an designer since 2013. I’ve delivered over 200 digital projects and undertaken countless hours of professional development.
Over the last few years, I’ve had developers and designers ask me for advice and feedback on projects they’re working on. Consultations offer a way to book one-to-one time for design guidance and feedback.
Consultations are open to anyone seeking design advice on a web project.
-
I’ve had Dave consult on my designs multiple times. He always finds areas where we can improve typography and usability, along with creative ideas for layout.
-
The consultation with Dave was incredible. My website was in need of some tweaks to give it that professional touch and that's exactly what Dave has delivered.
-
Dave’s attention to detail is unparalleled. His vast experience allows him to predict problems ahead of time whilst offering thoughtful optimisations.
Six ways I can help you
-
Identify usability issues and offer ways to improve them

Improve typographic details and pairings
-
Workshop and offer feedback on in-progress designs
-
Fix accessibility issues in ways that fit an existing brand
-
Navigate tricky stakeholders with strategies I’ve picked up over the years
-
Think holistically, considering usability, development, accessibility, performance and privacy
-
The review was jam-packed with constructive feedback and advice. From strategy to design and execution, leaving no stone unturned.

Dave is highly accountable and comes with a variety of creative and commercially appropriate ideas.
-
Dave’s both systematic and pragmatic in his approach, and his understanding and appreciation of the web sets him apart.
How it works
Consultations are priced at £125 this autumn (normally £200).
Because I’m setting aside the time to meet with you, bookings are non-refundable. If you need to rearrange, please let me know at least 48 hours before our meeting and we’ll find another slot.
When you book, you can tell me about your project or the design problem you’re looking for support with. Send me some brief details and I’ll go over it before the call.
You will also have the opportunity to share links to a Figma or Sketch project, too.
If this is a client project, I’d highly recommend duplicating the work onto a fresh board.
