Over the last few years, my availability has been quite limited. A long-term engagement has meant I’ve only had availability to take on one or two additional projects at a time.

I now have more open availability for projects. In particular, I’m looking to take on a combination of:

• Short and medium-term one-off projects, like marketing websites

• Longer term retainer engagements, like design system or component library work (with retained capacity up to 2–3 days per week)

• Design consultations (these have been reduced to £125 per session for the Autumn)

Recent engagements

A lot of my work has involved designs of marketing sites for small/medium-sized organisations. Aside from the design itself, these projects usually involve some level of strategy, brand refinement and accessibility guidance.

Alongside these smaller projects, I’ve also been working with Secure Practice in various capacities. Together we built their first design system which set out to improve the UX and accessibility of their various apps, plus streamline development of new features.

We built and documented the system in Figma and Storybook. I performed design QA in a local Docker-based Laravel environment, pushing vanilla and Tailwind CSS updates across Vue and Typescript files.
